Watching Over You
This is by far my favorite long exposure. This shot was captured during a busy Wednesday evening rush hour just blocks from my house. At the time, this was my second visit to the spot, which is an overpass with tracks for cargo trains that overlooks Hempstead Turnpike.
On this night my friend, Khalif, and I decided to visit the spot for a shoot together. Little did I know that in an attempt to shoot some long exposures from a new height, the night would result with us running from the police. Apparently, the length of my tripod, along with its position facing towards the street provoked a call to the police ( assuming that my camera and tripod were actually a gun).
Although the run from the police this night was the most fear I ever experienced, I'm glad that I at least had something of value to remember from that night.
