Sudsy

Caught a nice sunset for the first time in a long time tonight. Although it was freezing and extremely windy, it was different be able to see the sun rather than just clouds during the sunset. It's also exciting to think about all of the warm sunsets i'll be able to see this summer. Long Beach never disappoints. Long Beach, Ny 2-2-14

This shot was taken in the middle of one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. The combination pf the colors in the sky, the large appearance of the sun, and the person in the foreground made for a painting-like scene on this cold Valentines Day. Long Beach, Ny 2-14-17

Running Out

I was fascinated with this framed black-sand hour glass when I found it in a mom and pop-shop upstate while my family and I were visitingmy brother Cobleskill. When I brought it to the beach and looked at the sunset through it I captured the shot the exact way I had imagined it would look. One day I won't need to look at the black sand through an hour glass because it'll be on the beach itself. 3-7-17 Captree State Park, Ny

All Bottled Up

I added some extra creativity to this shot by placing a mini-plant, once part of an architectural design made by my grandfather, inside a mason jar along the shore. The sunset complimented the greenery and illuminated the edges of the jar perfectly. 3-29-17 Long Beach, NY

What's Wrong with Dreaming a Little?
